Instead of an open operation with an incision that can be 18-36" long in some cases, the surgeon uses x-rays to guide small catheters and devices through the blood vessels to open clogged arteries.

Aortic and Peripheral Aneurysm

What is an aneurysm?
An aneurysm is a localized, blood-filled dilation (balloon-like bulge) of a blood vessel that is caused by disease or weakening of the vessel wall...

Carotid Artery Disease

A Carotid Duplex Examination is an ultrasound test of the carotid arteries in the neck that lead to the brain. This study is used to detect a blockage or narrowing of the carotid arteries which may cause a stroke.
